The sandbox page allows you to practice adding text, links, files, widgets, or tables. Text:
The common Bold face, Italics, and Underline icons function are used by clicking. The T-icon allows the user to change the font, size, color, background color (of text only), and alignment of the text. It is best to set the font styles before typing the text. Preset styles are located in the drop down menu by Normal. Bullets and numbers are also available.
Links:
Links allow the user to link to other pages. Highlight the word or words to link before clicking on the Link icon.
Files:
Files allows for the insertion of images. After saving a file or an image from a source (internet or camera), click to upload the file. Clicking on the file on the left side after it has been uploaded will place the file on the page.
Widget:
A widget is an add on to the page. They include videos, calendars, spreadsheets, slide shows, etc.
Table:
A table is like a table or chart using MS Word. It has columns and rows which must be defined. An example is the Scoring Rubric page.
Preview:
Click the preview to see how the page looks before saving. If you need to make more changes, add the changes before saving.
Cancel:
To cancel all work. If you have done any work it will be lost. SAVE: The Save is the most important! If you don't save it will be lost. Elliot's special
